Software card registration

  1. Complete a software card registration form (MS Word form) (PDF form)
  2. The form must be signed by a senior member of staff: departmental administrator / head of administration and finance / head of department or head of faculty; bursar or head of house
  3. Return an electronic copy of the signed form to the Service Desk, or send hardcopy to IT Services at the address given on the form

IT Services will issue a software card number once the form has been returned and validated. This authorises the unit permanently for site licensed software. Physical cards are no longer issued as all purchases are now online.

Additional software card numbers may be issued to the same unit if required for multiple purchasing centres.

The software card number is usually held by the IT Support Officer or other person who regularly purchases software for the unit.
